Free SEO Content Analyzer: 44-Point Audit in Seconds

Free Tools

SEO Content Analyzer

See exactly what Google can and cannot read on any page. Paste a URL and get a scored audit across SEO, readability, CTR, E-E-A-T, technical, schema, and AI crawlability. Takes about 10 seconds.

Optional. Unlocks 14 extra checks for keyword density, placement, and title alignment.

What this tool checks

This tool fetches and analyzes the raw HTML delivered by the server. It checks what search engines and AI crawlers see on the initial page load, before any JavaScript runs.

  • Content visible in the server-rendered HTML only
  • JavaScript-rendered content is not analyzed
  • Dynamic elements loaded after page load are not included

If your site relies on client-side rendering, some results may not reflect what a visitor sees. Use Google Search Console to see how Google renders and indexes your pages.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does this SEO content analyzer check?

It runs 44 individual assessments across 7 dimensions: SEO (keyphrase usage, meta tags, content length, links, images), Readability (Flesch score, sentence length, passive voice, transitions), CTR (title power words, numbers, sentiment), E-E-A-T (author info, citations, dates, about page), Technical (canonical URL, robots directives, Open Graph, hreflang), Schema (structured data presence, validity, rich result eligibility), and SSR Detection (whether content is server-rendered and readable by crawlers before JavaScript executes). Each check returns a plain-English explanation and a 1 to 9 score so you always know exactly what to fix.

Why should I add a focus keyword?

The focus keyword unlocks 14 additional keyphrase-specific checks: whether your keyword appears in the title tag, meta description, URL slug, opening paragraph, subheadings, and image alt text, and whether density sits in the recommended 0.5 to 2.5% range. Without a keyword, you still get 30 checks covering readability, technical SEO, E-E-A-T, schema, and SSR detection.

How is the SEO score calculated?

Each dimension runs its own set of assessments. Every assessment returns a score from 1 to 9, which maps to a rating of good (7 to 9), ok (4 to 6), or bad (1 to 3). The dimension score is the weighted average of its assessments, normalized to 0 to 100. The overall score averages all 7 dimensions. A score above 80 indicates a well-optimized page; below 50 typically means multiple issues are suppressing rankings.

What is E-E-A-T and why does it affect rankings?

E-E-A-T stands for Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, and Trustworthiness. These are signals Google's Search Quality Evaluators look for when assessing content quality, especially for health, finance, and legal topics. This tool checks for author bylines, external citations to authoritative sources, recent publication or update dates, an accessible About page, and contact information. Pages that demonstrate E-E-A-T tend to rank higher and are more likely to be cited in AI-generated answers from ChatGPT and Gemini.

Is my content stored or shared?

No. We fetch your page in real time to run the analysis, but nothing is stored on our servers. Results are returned directly to your browser and discarded after the request completes. We do not log URLs, page content, or analysis results.

How does this compare to Yoast SEO?

This tool covers similar ground to Yoast's content analysis but adds five dimensions Yoast does not offer: CTR optimization, E-E-A-T signals, technical SEO meta tags, schema markup validation, and SSR detection. The result is 44 checks total versus Yoast's typical 20 to 25. The key difference is this tool analyzes any live URL without requiring a CMS plugin, so you can audit competitor pages and client sites as well as your own.

How the 44-Check Analysis Works

This free SEO content analyzer fetches your page server-side, extracts the full HTML document, and parses meta tags, heading structure, internal and external links, images, and structured data. It then runs 44 individual assessments grouped into 7 dimensions. Each assessment returns a score from 1 to 9, where 7+ is good, 4 to 6 needs attention, and 1 to 3 is actively hurting your rankings.

Dimension scores are weighted averages of their assessments, normalized to a 0 to 100 scale. The overall SEO score averages all 7 dimensions. Results are sorted by impact so you fix the biggest problems first. This SEO page analyzer runs the same engine that powers Ooty's full product, not a simplified version.

The 7 Dimensions, Explained

SEO

Keyphrase placement in titles, meta descriptions, URLs, headings, and body text. Content depth, internal and external link quality, image optimization with alt text. These are the checks most website SEO checker tools focus on, and they are necessary but not sufficient.

Readability

Flesch reading ease, sentence length distribution, passive voice ratio, and transition word usage. Poor readability kills dwell time. When users bounce within seconds, Google interprets that as a quality signal and adjusts rankings accordingly.

CTR

Title power words, numbers in titles, and emotional sentiment scoring. These factors affect your click-through rate from search results. Google measures CTR via NavBoost and uses it as a ranking signal. A page in position 3 with a 6% CTR can outrank a page in position 1 with a 2% CTR.

E-E-A-T

Author attribution, external citations to authoritative sources, publication and update dates, About page presence, and contact information. Google's quality evaluators check these signals explicitly. Most free SEO audit tools ignore E-E-A-T entirely.

Technical

Canonical URLs, robots directives, Open Graph tags, and hreflang attributes for international sites. This is the infrastructure that tells crawlers how to handle your page, which version is canonical, and which audiences to serve it to.

Schema

Structured data presence, JSON-LD validity, and rich result eligibility. Invalid schema means Google skips your star ratings, FAQ panels, and product listings in search results. A single missing required property can disqualify an entire rich result.

SSR Detection

Whether your content is server-rendered or relies on client-side JavaScript. If Googlebot sees an empty page until JS executes, you have an indexing problem. React SPAs, Angular apps, and Vue sites are especially vulnerable. Almost no free SEO checker tests for this.

What Most Free SEO Checkers Miss

Most free SEO analyzers check 15 to 20 signals: title length, meta description presence, heading structure, keyword density. That covers roughly 30% of what affects rankings. They miss the signals that separate pages stuck on page 2 from pages that rank in the top 3.

  • E-E-A-T signals (author info, citations, dates) that Google's quality raters evaluate manually
  • SSR detection to confirm Google actually sees your content before JavaScript executes
  • CTR optimization scoring to measure whether your title compels clicks from the SERP
  • Schema validation to verify your structured data actually qualifies for rich results
  • Readability metrics beyond a basic Flesch score, including passive voice ratio and transition word density

This tool runs all of these in a single analysis. You check your SEO score free, get 44 data points, and walk away with a prioritized fix list.

What to Do With Your Results

Fix errors (score 1 to 3) before warnings (score 4 to 6). Start with the SEO and Technical dimensions because they affect crawling and indexing. A page that cannot be crawled correctly will not rank regardless of content quality.

  • Use the Schema Markup Validator to fix structured data issues flagged in the Schema dimension
  • Use the Meta Tag Analyzer for deeper title and description analysis with SERP and social previews
  • Check your AI Readiness to make sure ChatGPT, Gemini, and other AI search engines can access your content too
  • Run the Topic Cluster Analyzer to see how your content fits into your site's broader topical authority
  • Run the HTTP Status Checker to verify that important pages return 200 and redirects resolve correctly
